Hey everyone,
This week we shot Jack and Miki, a wonderful couple that we met through our friend Sulmo Kim. We wanted to do a beach shoot, but make it a little different from the typical beach shoot. So, we headed down to Laguna Beach. The rocky cliffs of Laguna Beach made a wonderful background for our great couple.
The shoot started off quite normal, and then took a turn for the soaking wet about half way through! We thought we would take a shot of Jack and Miki with a big wave splashing behind them. So, we observed the tide for about 10 minutes to find a spot where they could stand and not get soaked by the splashing wave. We found that spot, only to wait for 20 minutes for big enough wave to make a big splash. Well, right before we left, we spotted a good size swell. We quickly got them posed, prepped our shot, and fired away. Little did we know, that the wave would engulf our couple! Well, at least the shots turned out amazing, haha!
Even though nature wouldn’t cooperate with us, Jack and Miki were tons of fun and looked beautiful, both dry and wet.
Congrats guys, we can’t wait for the wedding!
