So the day before Nancy & Soheil’s wedding out in Cabo San Lucas, we spent half a day with them hanging out and doing a fun little engagement shoot. There were so many great pictures from both the engagement shoot and the wedding, that we thought we should split it into two blog entries.
For their engagement shoot on Friday, we hung out with Soheil and Nancy for a good part of the day. We started the shoot in their hotel, Hotel Riu Palace, which was as big as it was gorgeous. Unbeknown to us, the Hotel Riu actually has 2 distinct resorts located on the same property. So we got quite lost walking around the place until we realized that their wedding was actually at Hotel Riu Palace vs Hotel Riu Santa Fe, meh… it was a good work out anyway.
Anyway, the Hotel Riu Palace was gorgeous, in fact we could have done the entire engagement shoot at the hotel and still not even scratched the surface of all the cool areas there were to shoot. But, at Chris’ brilliant urging, after about an hour of shooting at the Hotel Riu, we took a glass boat taxi off to Lover’s Island which is at the southern-most tip of Cabo San Lucas. I think everyone would agree that the boat ride was a blast and the scenery was gorgeous.
