Hey ladies and gents:
This is Chris from L & J Photography of Los Angeles. Last week, I had the opportunity to travel to Peru for a little vacation with my buddies. We spent two days in Lima, two days in the Cuzco area, and 4 days on the Inca Trail Hike. I could go on and on about how beautiful and diverse the country is, but i’d rather just show you. One thing I have to say is that almost everyone we encountered was incredibly nice; and everyone we worked with was professional and honest. If your planning a trip, I’d highly recommend considering incatrailreservations.com. Their service was great and affordable, with their packages running just slighly above what we would have paid had we planned everything ourselves. Enjoy! I hope you all get a chance to see this beautiful country.
The minute we arrived, I began shooting the sights of Lima. Here we can see our friendly cab driver being mean mugged by a little child.

At every stop sign on the streets of Lima, there are vendors selling drinks, fruit, and other items.

The local artists in Peru are amazing; and the art is cheaper than the canvas would cost in the US. For example, a large 20×30 print is only a couple hundred dollars for an original painting that would likely run at least ten times that amount.

Inside one of the many museums in Lima during one of the many tours which I failed to pay attention to, there was this amazing piece of artwork which I shot from a bottom right angle.

Besides Alpaca socks, hats, and scarves, the street markets of Lima have many hand-crafted items, such as this chess set.

The Inca Trail, on the way up to Machu Picchu, was filled with stunning scenery and amazing plants and wildlife.

Along the Inca Trail, there were also many villages where children were playing and doing household chores.

Besides the standard Machu Picchu shots, I tried getting a few unique and interesting angles on the well-photographed amazing architecture. Here’s one of my attempts.
