Saratoga Photography – Hakone Gardens

This is Chris, still spending time in Northern California.
Yesterday, I was able to visit stop by the Hakone Gardens in Saratoga, CA. “In 1915, inspired by both a lifelong interest in Japanese Culture and their travels throughout Japan, San Francisco cultural leaders Oliver and Isabel Stine purchased 18 acres of Saratoga hillside to build a summer retreat for family and friends. Stimulated by displays at the 1915 Pan-Pacific Exhibition, Stine traveled to Japan to gather ideas and when she returned home named her retreat after one of her favorite places in Japan, Fuji-Hakone National Park.” The peaceful gardens are an ideal place for relaxing and spending time with the family.
The Hokone Gardens has a beautiful pond full of coy fish and turtles like these:

Malibu Wedding Photography – New Clients – Christian & Teresa

Hey guys this is Pye,
So we thought it would be fun to show you some of our new lovely Lin and Jirsa Photography clients starting with Teresa and Christian, a beautiful couple that I had the chance to meet last week. Christian had the wonderful idea of meeting in Artesia at a South Indian Restaurant called Udupi Palace. The idea was fabulous as I think this was the best Indian food I have ever had!
Anyway, Christian and Teresa are having a really cool 1920′s Great Gatsby themed wedding out at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu. Christian and Teresa, you guys are an amazing couple and I can’t wait for the wedding!

Hey Everyone,
This past weekend, Justin and I had the wonderful opportunity to shoot the wedding of Taymor and Sahar. We had an amazing day of wedding photography. We actually started off near the Lin and Jirsa Wedding Photography office in Tustin at New York Cuts Salon, a lovely salon that is actually owned by Sahar’s mother, Nancy. While we were there, we pulled a crazy stunt and took the dress outside for a nice photo opp right in the middle of the road. I think it turned out pretty cool, yes?
After everyone was ready, we hopped into the limo and headed down to the Montage Resort in Laguna Beach where we took some lovely shots of the bridal party. We then headed of to Pacific Hills Banquet & Catering for the ceremony and reception. The ceremony was a beautiful traditional Afghanistani wedding which was quite amazing. All of the traditional Afghanistani clothing made for some amazingly colorful imagery.
All and all, we had a blast with Sahar, Taymor and their gang. Sahar and Taymor, we wish you the best and hope you enjoy this little teaser =)
