It’s funny how things work out. On a Saturday a couple of years ago, Jessica had two choices. She could have gone to a church dance with a guy named Ryan (he’ll come back into the story later); or attend a friends wedding reception. She decided on the later; and there, she met the best man of the wedding, Clint. They talked throughout the night and shared the last dance of the evening. A week later, they went on their first date where they parked next to the Redondo Beach Historic Library and walked along Redondo Beach. Well Ryan (the guy from the first part of the story and a mutual friend of both Clint and Jessica) ended up meeting and falling in love with a girl named Ayu. They were married last year; and we were lucky enough to shoot their beautiful wedding. And now, after over a couple years of dating, Clint and Jessica have decided to tie the knot later this year at the same location they parked their car on their first date.
For the engagement session, we decided to go to Balboa Island, a place they shared one of their many dates. Balboa Island is a nice quaint and isolated location in Newport Beach, with small boutiques and picturesque homes. We took full advantage of the unique vibe; and spent a couple hours hanging out around the Island. We ended the shoot in Corona Del Mar, just a few minutes from Balboa Island for a few sunset shots. We hope you enjoy the images; and we’re excited to be a part of your wedding.
