Colin and Josie were married a few weeks ago at the La Venta Inn in Palos Verdes, CA. The day started with some door games and a tea ceremony at the brides home. Making the groom and his boys do ridiculous things before letting them through the door of the bride’s home creates so many funny and random moments that are so much fun to capture. For example, the groomsmen had to do push ups every time Colin was asked a question about Josie and got the answer wrong. Yeah… they got a pretty decent workout =)
Colin and Josie, you guys are awesome and we thank you for letting us be a part of your wedding story.

After the tea ceremony, we cruised on over to their ceremony site. La Venta Inn is a classic and lovely intimate ceremony site perched on the cliff side of Palos Verdes overlooking the ocean.
Their beautiful, cute, and emotional ceremony at La Venta Inn was capped with a “first high-five” rather than a first kiss (I love it when couples do something original!)

I totally dig the 18th century “expressionless” shot. Colin and Josie totally pulled it off too! The background even worked with us on this one, how classic.
This Gorgeous arrangement of cupcakes was provided by My Sweet Cupcakes in Pasadena, CA
Richard, another one of our future wedding clients, was pushed out by all the boys during the garter toss to ensure that he caught the garter. Which, he did so brilliantly. Cheers my friend, we will be seeing you soon! =)
