Not too long ago we had the opportunity to shoot Huy and Natalie’s wedding. The wedding day started with a lovely traditional tea ceremony held at both Natalie and Huy’s family’s homes. Afterwards we headed to Golden West College’s Native Garden which wasn’t so much of a garden as it was a wild outcropping of random trees and bushes. But, despite the location, we still managed to get a lot of great shots of our couple.
After our couples session, we headed off to Seafood Cove in Westminster for the reception banquet. Great food, great music, and tons of great candids. In short, it was simply awesome.
We wish to thank our wonderful second shooter Kelly Brown for her assistance.
Huy and Natalie, congratulations, we wish you both the best life has to offer. Enjoy the photos!

I don’t think there is a single photographer out there who wouldn’t shoot this moment!

This was the greenhouse in the Golden West College Native Garden. I got this idea when looking through the window from one side to the other thinking that with a little bit of added light, this could be quite a cool little grunge scene.

Jumping, it’s awesome, simply awesome.

“More sun flare please” … or was it cowbell? Not sure, but I love this shot.

We noticed this nice little train track area on the way to Golden West College, so on the way back we stopped there for a little action.

Ok, this was Natalie’s friend. She sang a few songs during the reception and let me just say that she was incredible! We definitely have a future Idle star here. Just remember that you saw her first on the blog… Come to think of it, we should get her signature now.

The guests had a blast throughout the night chatting, goofing around, and dancing. This of course lead to tons of great candids!
