I met Angela at Cal, back when we were struggling with (and having a ton of fun in) the same classes and group projects. Her personality was as great, fun, and warm as it was on her wedding day. I only met Theo a couple times, but just from those few encounters, I knew that they were great for each other. I had an amazing experience at their wedding, and I’m glad to have reconnected with an old friend and made so many new ones. Thanks for everything you guys; and I hope you enjoy the images!

Palo Alto Wedding Photography | The Westin Hotel | Angela + Theo

The day began at the Westin, where our bridal party got ready for the big day. Chipper as always, Angela and her bridesmaids were up early putting on their makeup and getting their hair done. Meanwhile Theo and his boys were off running errands; but arrived in time for some preparation shots themselves.

Stanford Wedding Photography | Stanford University | Angela + Theo

After our party was done getting ready, we went over to Stanford University in Palo Alto to take advantage of their beautiful architecture. Theo, who went to school there, had a few secret spots where we took some wedding party pictures; but for some of the shots, we had to battle with a few of the other groups there on that day. The beautiful columns and arches framed our subjects nicely; and the building made awesome backgrounds.

Nataliya spent some time with the girls and I did some of the groomsmen shots. She did a great job capturing these candid moments on the steps at Stanford University.

Palo Alto Wedding Photography | First United Methodist Church | Angela + Theo

November 25th, 2009

The ceremony was held at the beautiful and modern First United Methodist Church on Hamilton Avenue in Palo Alto. The ceremony was full of emotion, from the laughs shared because of a stubborn candle that wouldn’t light, to the love expressed in their vows to each other. Much of the music played was rearranged/composed by the groom himself; and it was all performed by close friends.

Palo Alto Wedding Photography | Ming’s Chinese Cuisine | Angela + Theo

November 25th, 2009

After the ceremony session at the First United Methodist Church, we went over to Ming’s Chinese Cuisine on Embarcadero in Palo Alto for the tea ceremony and the reception. The great food was eaten between games, laughs, slideshows, toasts, and dances; and to top it all off, the dance floor was jam packed until the party ended late into the evening.

They played a series of games, thought up by the coordinator, Mega Khiang, that created some hilarious moments.
