A little while back, Astha and Sandeep were married at the Doubletree Hotel in Santa Ana. We always love shooting Indian weddings because of the fun and excitement from start to end. They started the day with the Baraat. Sandeep mounted a beautiful white horse as his family and friends danced ahead and gradually approached Astha’s family, waiting at the entrance of the Doubletree hotel. The dancing and smiles of the family, from the young to the old, create a lively, energetic atmosphere.

The baraat was followed by a solemn Indian wedding ceremony inside one of the ballrooms of the Doubletree Hotel in Santa Ana. Under the beautifully decorated mandap, Sandeep and Astha were officially married! We’ll continue the rest of the day in the posts below, but we want to say congratulations and thank you for allowing us to document your love story.

After our couples session over at The Village at Irvine Spectrum Center, we headed back to the Doubletree Hotel in Santa Ana, also known as the Double Tree Hotel of Orange County, for the wedding reception. The in the reception hall at the Doubletree was beautiful, with a beautiful fountain emitting a pink glow behind a unique couch for our bride and groom to sit. The couch was flanked by gorgeous floral arrangements; and all of this was situated under an elegant canopy.

With emotion and good times all around the wedding reception hall, the night was a great time for all of the guests of the wedding. There were exciting performances, articulate speeches, and of course, dancing to end the night.

Below is the unique set up in the reception area, where Astha and Sandeep sat through the performances, speeches, and other events of the evening.

Their first dance was to a beautiful serenade, adding to the emotion of the moment.
