Walking into the Park Plaza in Los Angeles is like stepping into a historic Los Angeles. It’s so unique that, after the wedding, I couldn’t help but go home and research a bit more about it. The Classic LA icon, built in the 1920s by renowned architect Claud Beelman, has been the scene for dozens of movies, TV shows and commercials. The building is considered Neo-Gothic, with impressive decor, tall, high ceilings, and amazing columns. While much of its surrounding buildings have since been demolished since, this amazing building has undergone renovations to become a luxury hotel, while maintaining much of its original structure and charm.
Rachel and Jimmy made the wonderful decision to host their family and friends at the gorgeous venue for their wedding ceremony and wedding reception. Our photography team had an amazing time with Rachel, Jimmy and their guests. Their East Coast charm, humor, and sincerity filled the day with character, emotion, and fun. From the emotional, grand ceremony to the all-out partying during the reception, Rachel and Jimmy had a complete wedding, with a full range of emotion, beautiful classic and traditional moments, and a great time for all of the friends and family.
