Los Verdes Golf Club Wedding Photography | Ehsan and Farimah

Ehsan and Farimah had their beautiful Persian wedding at the Los Verdes Golf Club in Palos Verdes. The super gracious and fun couple spent most of the day just goofing around and laughing as we shot, despite the ridiculously strong winds that day. Now I’m not talking about the usual Palos Verdes winds. These winds were doing their best Florida in the rainy season impression, blowing up dust and (almost) ruining our beautiful bride’s hair. So we cut the couples session a bit short; but not before grabbing a few nice cliff-side shots.

The ceremony was beautiful and touching, as the sun went down and gave the ceremony site a beautiful back light. Then the party began; and when you mix Persians and music, you know it’s a great time! (I can say that because i’m Persian as well… haha). I wanted to put down my gear and join the party, but sadly, I had to resist the urge. Wayfarers Chapel Palos Verdes Wedding Photography | Megan and Brian

Megan and Brian were married at the Wayfarers Chapel in Palos verdes with their wedding reception at Michaels Tuscany Room in San Pedro. Throughout the entire day, we had fun with this outgoing couple, as they laughed with their family and friends, made interesting and funny faces for the camera, and didn’t hold back any emotion for the camera. Wayfarers Chapel, with its unique architecture and inspired design, creates a reverent, almost surreal environment for a wedding ceremony. Michaels Tuscany Room was beautiful as well, as we’ll talk about in the next blog entry. La Venta Inn Palos Verdes Wedding Photography | Anna and Noel

I had the pleasure of meeting with Anna and Noel a few months ago for their engagement session, when we explored Laguna beach and had a great time getting to know each other. A few months passed quickly; and it was great to see them both again on their big day. The highlight of the wedding for me was their ceremony, as it was one of the most emotional, heartfelt ceremonies I’ve ever attended.

Can you say tears everywhere!? I remember at one point, I fired off three shots in a row, catching three different people with a tear in their eye. It was amazing. Another great moment was the wedding party photo session. The bridesmaid and groomsman were down for anything, so I took advantage and made them do a whole bunch of random and funny things. A couple weekends ago, we joined Mark & Marisa to capture their big day. We became good friends a few months ago during our engagement shoot in Venice Beach, as we strolled around Abbot Kinney, the Strand, and Venice Beach. Their wedding was a blast; and we hope the images express their amazing personalities and their love for each other. Couples like this definitely make us appreciate our jobs! Receptions are my favorite time of the wedding. The stress is off the bride, groom, and their guests; and it’s time to relax and have a great time. Mark & Marisa have such awesome and fun personalities, and their energy really radiates from their images.
