Tania and Dinesh held their Indian wedding at the Hyatt Mission Bay in San Diego. As the rain came down in the morning, Tania and Dinesh were calm and happy as they prepared for the big day. Just as the Baraat started, the rain stopped as if someone had turned off a faucet. Dinesh and his family danced down the street to the rhythm of the drums, Dinesh on his white horse and his family energetically and rhythmically leading the way. As Dinesh arrived at where the Bride’s family was waiting, the rain started back up again, as if it had taken a quick break to let Dinesh and his family have their moment.
We continued the wonderful ceremony indoors under the beautiful Mandap in front of all of their gracious family and friends. By the time we got to our couples session, it was pretty much night time, so we did a few of our signature night time shots and before we knew it, the reception time was upon us. The reception was a great time, with touching, eloquent toasts, great dancing by both the couple and their guests, and an amazing band called O.C.P. or Out of Control Punjabis, who created a club atmosphere inside the Hyatt Mission Bay.
Thank you Dinesh and Tania. You guys had a great wedding. Special thanks to the wonderful wedding coordinator, Nahid Farhoud of Wedding Elegance, for executing the wedding flawlessly; and thank you to my second shooter Laura Im for her great, reliable, and creative work (as always). Also, shoutout to our lighting assistant, Larissa Low for her help as well.
